Dancing with the Stars Party
Our "Dancing with Stars" party began with a bunch of fun group dances and games such as the Limbo, the Bunny Hop, the Cha Cha Slide, and the Kangaroo. For the Kangaroo we had a stick and we put it on the ground and everyone had to jump over it. It was gradually raised higher and whoever touched it first had to take the end of the stick and the game started over again. After the group dancing we put on some music and free styled for a while. Next, we got a partner and taught them a dance and vice versa. If one of us already knew the dance, we did that dance together for one song. Then, if we knew the other dance we did that dance for one song also. We had to try and teach our partner the dance in one song. At the end, the guest of honor's parents (who are very good dancers) judged who taught each dance the best. Finally, we free styled until our parents came to pick us up.
