Christmas Star Puzzle

Christmas game

Do you think you're up for the challenge? This Christmas star puzzle may look easy to assemble, but it's not. You'll be surprised how long it takes your guests to put it together. Of course, there's always a chance that some one might get lucky, but probably not.

Use the printable star as a pattern to create as many puzzles as you'd like to use for your party (one per person or one per team). Be sure to use the printable star only as a pattern. You
don't want to have the black lines showing on the puzzle (that would take away the challenge).
Printable Christmas Star Puzzle

To view this printable puzzle, you will need Adobe Reader installed on your computer (the latest version is recommended).
You can get your free Adobe Reader here (a new window will open so you can download without leaving this page).

Print a copy of the star and then lay it on top of yellow bristol board (or whatever paper you'd like to use).
Note: You could first cut around the edge of your printed star and then tape it down on the bristol board to make cutting the puzzles pieces easier.

Christmas star

Cut out one star per person or team and put the pieces for each star in an envelop (one envelop per star).

At your party pass out the envelopes and let the assembly begin.
You may want to have a picture of the completed star handy in case no one can figure out how to put the star together.

The first team or person to put the puzzle together WINS!

Variation: Don't tell your guests what the puzzle is supposed to be unless it becomes absolutely necessary. Cut the puzzle out of unusual colors to make the guessing even more difficult.
