New York City Item Hunt

Statue of Liberty in New York City

We need a list of items for adults to find in New York City. We will be handing out cloth bags to collect the items in. We are staying at The Mariott Marquee during the third week of August. We plan on awarding a prize or prizes to the winners on the way home. Once we get to New York City everyone will be pretty much on their own. We won't meet up with everyone again until we leave.

We would prefer a list of items (not photos) to make it easier to score and would like the items to be smaller so that they will fit into the bags they will be carrying. This is a mixed group of adults, but mostly women!

NYC Scavenger Hunt - great items
by: Melissa-NYC Insider Guide

What a wonderful idea for a scavenger hunt! And you've hit so many of the highlights of New York City. I especially love the Nathan's logo item.

Other things to add (IMHO) are:
1) a photo with any street vendor (Sabrett Hot Dog, Gyro, Shishkebab). Check out the Vendy awards (http://streetvendor.org/vendys/finalists) to make sure you find the best of best.
2) What does the clock in Union Square mean?
3) A brochure or momento from either The Ground Zero Museum Workshop or the World Trade Center Visitor Center
4) Business card from a cafe or restaurant in Greenwich Village, West Village or Meatpacking District
5) Ticket stub from any professional sport event - Yankees, Mets, Giants, Jets, Knicks or Rangers

Enjoy! What a wonderful site and list of cool NYC things.
