A pool party...sounds normal, right? Wrong! This party was awesome.
I've been to a lot of parties, but this party had to be the best one yet. The invites were plain, I guess.
Okay, well the decorations were kind of like what you would see at a Luau Party. As in sandy colors. Speaking of sand... there was sand everywhere!
As we came in we were each given an hawaiian necklace and our goodie bags (which contained nail-polish, candy, hair clips, a number, etc.).
My friend has a huge built in pool on her patio outside, so we huddled around it and did manicures, pedicures, and facials. We then played some games.
We went inside the kitchen where there was a buffet. There was fruit, salad, sweets, cheese, shrimp, chicken, etc. We were told we could come in and get something and bring it outside whenever we wanted to, so we wouldn't miss out on anything.
My friend's dad made us drinks. They were a Sprite and smoothie mix. They were really good!
The rest of the time we talked and went in the pool.
