Wedding Shower Candy Bar Story

I wrote a candy bar story for my nephew and future niece's wedding shower using different candy. I then gave them a basket with all the candy.

David and Ashley

I'm here to tell a story about Ashley and David. Now some of you may SNICKER, but it truly will be M-AZING. I hope you get a few CHUCKLES out of it.

We all know David and Ashley have been SWEETTARTS for many years. They met for the first time in 2nd grade. They had MOUNDS of fun in elementary school, but it wasn't until high school they became GOO-GOO about each other, and Ashley became David's BIT-O-HONEY. But as teenage romances often go, they hit a SOUR PATCH in their relationship and decided to break up.

After they graduated, David saw Ashley again and said "HUBBA BUBBA, what a babe". Ashley found out that David was her HOT TAMALE, and Ashley became David's SUGAR BABY. They found they were LIFESAVERS to each other.

After dating for 4 years, David decided to ask her to marry him and he gave her a RING-POP, and told her that he would love her
NOW & LATER. Ashley said she would marry David and that she would love him GOOD & PLENTY.

Now David and Ashley, we all want you to know that as time goes by, you may hit a little bit of a ROCKY ROAD, as many marriages do.

David, you may think Ashley is making you
NUTRAGEOUS at times. Ashley, David may be acting like a GOOBER, and make you see the BIG RED. If you both will stop and TAKE-5, you'll both see there is a REISEN you are together, because you love each other to PIECES. So don't be NERDS and try to keep SKOR.

Ashley, I'm not playing TWIX on you when I tell you David can have real CHARM. So in a CRUNCH, take that FAST BREAK, and remember David can be soooo KISS ABLE.

David don't forget to tell HERSHEYS beautiful and rain her with KISSES and HUGS. It could lead you to a more CAREFREE life that runs like a SYMPHONY. And that my dear boy is not a WHOPPER.

As you both start your jobs and start to connect the DOTS, you will realize your checking account will go from ZERO to 100 GRAND on PAYDAY. You could end up on 5TH AVENUE in no time.

Ashley, someday down the road, we hope you will get a little CHUNKY, and present us with a little BABY RUTH or maybe an O'HENRY. No matter WHATCHMACALLIT, you will become the 3 MUSKETEERS. You all will be such TREASURES to our families.

Seriously now, we hope you both realize that we are so proud of both of you and for all you have accomplished.

Ashley, I speak for all of us when I say "you are welcome into our family with open arms.
