Annual Reading: Rover Saves Christmas by Roddy Doyle

by Denise
(Rockville, MD)

On Christmas Eve, our family drives several hours to a family party. And every year, I read the kids Roddy Doyle's hilarious book, Rover Saves Christmas----the true tale of a dog that stepped in for Rudolph one year when Rudolph was having a midlife crisis. Our tradition started when the kids were about 8 and 6----now 16 and 14, they still enjoy it.
