I save old sample shampoo bottles and shrinky dink bubble wands. I glue wands to cap of bottles. When we go on picnics I bring these with some glue and dish soap. I let kids decorate bottles with things found outside like leaves etc... Then we eat and after lunch we put some soap in bottles and blow bubbles. Keeps kids entertained while lunch is being prepared as well as entertains them after lunch, but best is they all go home with a gift they made at park.
