I Want That Game!

I have three daughters-each with lots of friends~~and that means lots of clothing, purses, shoes, etc...around the house! Last holiday season, my girls and I hosted a a slumber party for a lot of our friends, and each one had to bring something that they didn't want anymore~~~you know what I mean~~~those shoes you bought and wore just once because they killed your feet, but they looked really cute on! Or the purse that only matches ONE dress, but you had to have it. Or the shirt that doesn't fit because you never tried it on first!!

Anyway, we took turns and held up what we didn't want, and anyone who wanted it could have it. However, if more than one person wanted that item, each had to state why THEY think THEY should have it, and the rest of us got to vote on who got to have it.

Some of the items up for grabs were silly things, but that made it all the more fun, and it was hilarious to see who could be most convincing as to why they should have a certain item.

It was really a lot of fun, and we got to clean the closets out a little bit, and in the end, what we had left that no one wanted, we packed up and gave to a women's shelter.

We plan to do this again this holiday because everyone loved it and had such a great time!
